In this edition of your beloved podcast Dave and Daniel are joined by good friend and even better writer Benjamin Esch who is both the author of the hit young adult book Sophomore Undercover and also sleeps in my old bed which I sold to him for $70 (just two of many interesting facts about Ben). Dave and I also discuss gardening, eggs and our first podcast comment — in a word, riveting.

Daniel and Dave are delighted to present none other than Aaron Abrams, as well as an exciting (not to mention tension-filled) story of Dave’s encounter with a vehicular bum-rusher.
We also have our usual gorilla call to Steve Fertuck, and this time we try to have Aaron Abrams join in on the fun - unfortunately Dave somehow got left out and then I ran out of money. So it’s a short one.
And finally, I did some searching for “hot foot” on YouTube, a search Mr. Abrams promised me would turn up a wealth of videos depicting a prank where you stick matches in someone’s shoes and, somehow, ignite them all at once so it looks like your foot is on fire. I couldn’t understand how this prank worked when it was explained to me in the podcast, and since the only thing a search for “hot foot” turns up on YouTube is foot fetish videos, I still have no idea. Below please find a picture of a (unless he can prove otherwise) liar:

And some decent pranks I did find on YouTube:

Dave and Daniel get into it with discussion and discourse about sandwiches, ice skating and the american entrepreneurial spirit.
They also mention an upcoming interview with screen sensation Aaron Abrams, which might lead you to assume that the aforementioned interview will occur during this podcast. Spoiler alert: It does not. But it will be in the next one.
Below find a couple pictures, one of the pathetic Rideau canal, the other of the glorious Ottawa River (if you look at this picture the right way you will see gold mine):

Join Daniel and Dave as they discuss Coffee, Capital and the salutation “Cheers”. If life gets any better than this I don’t want to hear about it.

Special return of the podcast podcast, which sees Daniel and Dave double up on interviews in more ways than one. The first is an interview with longtime friend of mysterious employ, Stephen Fertuck (I just found out Stephen has no Facebook page and ONE connection on Linkedin…the plot thickens). Listen to the podcast so you can play the “GUESS WHAT STEPHEN ACTUALLY DOES” game. It’s fun. The photo below, of Steve, may help.

The second is with a pair of Danish birds who are galavanting about the United States of America in a blue Toyota on their gap year.
Plus, courtroom drama with Dave!!!
(Note: the first part of this podcast takes place outside in a parking lot, hence the wind and sound of cars)

Join us this week as Dave and Daniel speak with Matt - a man involved with the Canadian legal system in some aspect which we will not disclose for his own protection, and a titled-by-others communist.
This is preceded by a discussion of topics indicated in the podcast title as well as a number of topics left un-indicated but, nonetheless, present in the podcast. One of which is a Japanese man named Masaru Emoto.

Dave and Daniel are joined by Inga - a norwegian reporter stationed in Los Angeles - who fills them in on the dos and don’ts of the interview.
This is preceded by a discussion of topics including but not limited to: bilking, packaging, headphones, and, as per the title, party invitations.
And here is Inga:

She works as a reporter for Norway’s largest newspaper - the VG. Thanks Inga!

Dave and Daniel’s inaugural podcast (ignore the fact that I call it podcast number two in the intro - we had a few false starts).
It’s rough (and I noticed that I say “um” and “so” a lot) but it’s live. Discussion includes topics such as: coin rolling, teammates and friendly people in Ottawa.
Our next podcast will show marked signs of improvement and hopefully an interview. Look for it early next week!
